OnePlus 8 Lite leaks-based CAD renders suggest a flat panel with hollow-punch. The dual rear camera is also visible, as well as a laser autofocus module.
South Korean electronics giant Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite are reported to be jumping into the OnePlus 'Lite' bandwagon following Samsung's move. Following the release of the upcoming OnePlus 8 and its Pro sibling online, it is alleged that a leaked based CAD render and a 360 degree video of the OnePlus 8 Lite have been leaked. The OnePlus 8 Lite features a central-facing hole-punch camera at the top, which, like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, plus dual rear cameras on the phone.
OnePlus 8 comes courtesy of @Onlinex in collaboration with 8 light renders and 360-degree video 91 mobiles. The phone is shown flaunting the dual-rear camera setup in a large black module. Also, the OnePlus 8 Lite's gradient Blue finish shares some similarity with the OnePlus 7T's Glacier Blue PaintJob. The camera sensors have a laser autofocus module, while the LED flash sits on the bottom.
On the front, the OnePlus 8 Lite is shown as a centrally located hole-punch sports, a markedly different design from the left-corner position of the hole-punch in the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro. The OnePlus 8 Lite has a flat display that measures 6.4-inches to 6.5-inches. The phone features a USB Type-C port, but a 3.5mm headphone jack is missing.
The OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to be 159.2x74x8.6 mm. Renders show no physical fingerprint sensor, which suggests that the OnePlus 8 Lite will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Until now, other details like the processor at its heart, the megapixel count of the camera sensors and the battery capacity are still under wraps. Looking at the OnePlus launch timeline, it's safe to assume that the OnePlus 8 Lite is still a few months away from launch.
